ABA TV: Zagorac – “We are not afraid of anyone!”

Rade Zagorac of Mega Leks shared his impressions for the ABA League TV after the first game of the ABA League Finals against Crvena zvezda Telekom. Take a look.

Can you share with us your comments about the first game of the final series?

"It was a difficult game just like we have expected. Throughout the season, Zvezda have played in an excellent fashion at home court. This time in the ABA League Finals they almost reached 100 points. Our defense also was not the best possible. Now we need to recover as fast as we can and to try to beat them again on Saturday.”

How difficult was it to play against Crvena zvezda Telekom without so many important players?

"You are familiar with the whole story regarding the injuries. This is the way things simply are and we must not give up on fighting because of that. Simply, everyone needs to play more than he is used to and that"s just the way things stand at the moment.”

You still battled strongly in order to achieve the desired win - what kept you going during the game?

"Throughout the season we have played this way. We are not used to give too much respect to anyone. Crvena zvezda Telekom are an excellent team, which was close to reaching the Final Four tournament of the Euroleague. However, I do not see a reason why we should be afraid of anyone. We just did what we were doing the whole season.”

What do you expect from the second game?
