Dejan Milojević, Mega Leks head coach:
"Especially I wish to congratulate my friend Dejan Radonjić on all the successes this season, both in Euroleague and ABA League. Also, congratulations to my players. In the finals we have shown what we are capable of. We have shown our maximum, however for Zvezda"s strength that wasn"t enough. The players played beyond their capabilities. Our rotation was shortened and we had to play with some of the players, that have never played strong games. Some of them received the chance to play in the finals, despite the fact that they haven"t had playing minutes during the season. The circumstances forced us to do it. I am too satisfied with the season. If someone told us before the beginning that we will play finals, I wouldn"t have believed him, even though I am considered as an optimist.”
Rade Zagorac, Mega Leks player:
"Crvena zvezda Telekom have proven that they are the team with most quality in the region. We have shown our maximum in the finals. We did what we could do. You all know what our situation with injuries is like. We were competitive, but we could not do more than this. We did not beat Zvezda even once this season and this will be an additional motive for us before the remaining games this season. In the end, I wish to congratulate my team on fantastic success.”
