All tied in Slovenian National Championship Semi-finals

It"s all tied in Slovenian National Championship Semi-finals after two rounds played, since Union Olimpija and Helios Suns have managed to beat Zlatorog and Krka, respectively, at their home courts and to tie both series to 1:1.

The clash of Union Olimpija and Zlatorog starts all over again after two games, since Union Olimpija have managed to defend their home court of Stožice after the thrilling finish in which Danijel Vujasinović had the chance to take the two teams into overtime with the free throws, but missed the first and intentionally missed the second one as well hoping for an offensive rebound of his teammates, which did not manage to please him.

It could well be said that Union Olimpija won the game well deservedly, as they have been in front for the very majority of the game, until they allowed Zlatorog to make it anybody"s game in the dying seconds. The final score was 90:88 and Sava Lešić was the top scorer with 25 points for Union Olimpija. For Zlatorog, Abrams and Vašl contributed 18 each.

In the other semi-final pair Helios Suns did their job at home court against Krka and tied the series to 1:1 thanks to their excellent performance late in the last quarter, when they turned the game around in their own favour.

The final score in Domžale was 73:68 and Ive Ivanov and Jure Lalić shared the top scorer of the game honour with 17 points apiece for Krka. On the winning side, Simo Atanacković and Đorđe Lelić scored 12 each.
