Helios and Zlatorog to fight for the trophy in Slovenia

Helios Suns and Zlatorog are the two teams that will be fighting for the championship trophy in Slovenia, as they have eliminated Krka and Union Olimpija, respectively, in the semi-finals. In both cases, the third games were decisive.

Helios Suns have qualified for the Slovenian National Championship Finals by eliminating Krka in the third decisive game of the semi-final series against Krka, which they have won on the road in Novo mesto with the final score of 77:74 thanks to their fantastic third quarter, which they have won by 8 points and turned the game around, after trailing by a point at half time. The final score was 77:74 and Stefan Sinovec was the top scorer with 23 points, while Močnik scored 16 for the winning side.

The second finalists of the season are Zlatorog, which have eliminated Union Olimpija 2:1 in the series, by defending their home court once again, this time with the final score of 68:59. The decisive one was the final quarter, which Aleš Pipan"s squad have won by 7 points and confirmed their advantage from the initial 30 minutes. Sava Lešić was the top scorer of the game with 17 points, while Christopher Booker was the best at the winning side with 15.
