Zvezda one step away from the Finals

Crvena zvezda Telekom defeated Mega Leks and took the lead in the semifinal series.

No drama at the start of the Serbian Championship Playoffs. Crvena zvezda Telekom wrote down a convincing win over Mega Leks in Game 1 of the semifinals and came just a step away from reaching the big finals.

The red and whites made the crucial margin in the second quarter in which they made 20:8 run and escaped from 23:22 to 40:23. Stefan Jović was just brilliant in that period as he made several important assists after which his teammates scored three-pointers.

Crvena zvezda had no problem to keep their lead in the rest of the game.

In the second semifinal pair, Partizan NIS will face FMP.

The first teams to reach 2 wins will advance to the Playoffs Finals.
