MZT celebrate fifth domestic championship trophy in a row

MZT Skopje Aerodrom have beaten Kumanovo on the road in the fourth game of Macedonian National Championship and won the series 3:1. They celebrate their fifth domestic championship trophy in a row.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom have become Macedonian national champions for the fifth time in a row - and they did it the hard way: by triumphing on the road in Kumanovo in the fourth game of the series and claiming the win in the series with the score of 3:1.

It was anybody"s game all until the final moments, since Kumanovo have entered the last quarter with 4 points of advantage (69:65). However, MZT Skopje Aerodrom have put on a convincing display in the final quarter and turned the game around in their favour, to triumph with the final score of 90:88 after a thriller ending.

Đorđe Drenovac was the top scorer of the game with 25 points, while on the home side, Aleksandar Kostoski and Bojan Trajkovski led the way with 23 apiece.
