While Zvezda secured their place in the finals couple of days earlier, Partizan had a lot more troubles in the semifinal series against FMP. Eventually, the black and whites triumphed in the decisive Game 3, after a really great battle in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall.
It looked that Partizan NIS will score a convincing win against FMP in this match, as the hosts were ahead by 20 points in the third quarter. However, the young team from Železnik performed a major comeback in the last period and approached to only -6, 74:68!
Still, Novica Veličković managed to keep his Partizan in front. He scored a three pointer (his 5th in the second half) and rejected the final attempt of the away team to catch up.
The final series of the Serbian National Championship will start on Friday. Crvena zvezda Telekom will have a home court advantage.
