Assembly of ABA League to take place in Podgorica on 11 July 2016

After analyzing the current situation and after consultations with the clubs, the ABA League Presidency confirms the unanimous conclusion that the ABA League j.t.d. made a huge contribution towards the affirmation and raising the quality of all basketball subjects in the region. Therefore, the ABA League represents the absolute priority and the preference of all the clubs.

In accordance with the Competition Rules, the ABA League Presidency confirms that the teams which qualified throughout the national championships will play in the 2016/17 ABA League season, and that the 2016/17 season will start on 1 October 2016.

The next ABA League Assembly will be held on 11 July 2016 in Podgorica, where, in accordance with the Founding Act, the Assembly will carry out the changes in the ABA League Presidency.

At the same time, the ABA League Assembly will adopt the schedule for the 2016/17 season and will draw the competition numbers for the 2016/17 season.
