MZT Skopje Aerodrom appoint Emil Rajković as new head coach

Emil Rajković will lead MZT Skopje Aerodrom in the 2016/17 season. At the same time, former head coach Aleksandar Jončevski will remain in the coaching staff of the first team.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom will enter the new season with new head coach. The club has agreed all terms with Macedonian expert Emil Rajković, who will therefore return to MZT after 12 years!

Rajković was a player of MZT Skopje Aerodrom back in 2003/04 season, while he finished player's career soon afterwards and decided to start his journey of a basketball coach. Rajković has been working in Toa Sum Jas (2005-2006), Feni Industries (2006-2012), Rabotnički (2012-2014), while he spent the last two years at the helm of Polish club Slask Wroclaw.

"I am honored to become the head coach of MZT Skopje Aerodrom and I am very excited that I will lead the team in such strong competitions as Eurocup and ABA League are. Our goals are quite clear - to win all domestic trophies and to finish at the top part of the standings in ABA League. Our participation in the Eurocup will help us to gain valuable experience. I hope that we will form a quality roster and I promise that we will work hard to fulfill our goals,” said Emil Rajković.
