Helios Suns have a new point guard, since they have signed an agreement on cooperation with former teammate of Kyle Casey at Harvard University, 25-year old Brandyn Curry.

186 cm tall point guard has been playing in Europe for the past two seasons. Firstly, he claimed the national championship trophy in the Netherlands with Den Bosch, where he also gained the title of the Playoffs MVP, while he spent the last season playing in the strong German Bundesliga with Eisbären Bremerhaven, for which he averaged 3.9 points and 2 assists per contest.
"I am delighted to get the chane to play for the Helios Suns in the forthcoming season and the fact which I am especially happy about is that I will be on the same team again with Kyle Casey. I cannot wait for the tough games in the ABA League to begin and we will do everything in our powers to bring happiness to the faces of our fans once again with excellent result,” Brandyn Curry told as he signed with the Suns.
In Domžale they keep searching only for one more reinforcement in the paint and it is clear at this point already that team guided by Jakša Vulić will play fast and attractive style of basketball and that youngsters will receive their adequate chance at the court as well.

Helios Sunsi imajo novega organizatorja igre, saj v njihove vrste prihaja nekdanji soigralec Kyla Caseya na Harvardu, 25-letni Brandyn Curry.
186 cm visoki organizator igre je zadnji dve sezoni preživel v Evropi. Najprej je bil na Nizozemskem državni prvak z Den Boschem kjer je ob tem pobral tudi naziv MVP končnice prvenstva, v pretekli sezoni pa je igral v močni nemški Bundesligi za Eisbären Bremerhaven, za katerega je v povprečno 15 minutah na tekmo dosegal 3,9 točke in 2 podaji.
"Navdušen sem, da bom prihajajočo sezono igral v dresu Helios Sunsev, predvsem pa me veseli, da bomo ponovno združil moči s Kylom Caseyem. Komaj čakam močne tekme v ligi ABA, naredili pa bomo tudi vse, da navijače in mesto še enkrat razveselimo z vrhunskim rezultatom," je ob sklenitvi sodelovanja povedal Brandyn Curry.
V Domžalah se išče še ena okrepitev pod košem, že zdaj pa je jasno, da se bo v športni dvorani Domžale, pod vodstvom trenerja Jakše Vulića igrala hitra, atraktivna košarka, kjer bodo svoj prostor na parketu iskali tudi številni mladi košarkarji klubskega podmladka.
