Marcus Williams is a new player of Budućnost VOLI

Marcus Williams has returned to ABA League. Former point guard of Crvena zvezda mts has signed one-year contract wth Budućnost VOLI.

All basketball fans from this region will once again have the opportunity to enjoy in his marvelous plays. It is official. Marcus Williams will once again play in the ABA League, but with one big difference. Instead of the red and white shirt in which we all used to watch him, this American point guard will wear the blue jersey of Budućnost VOLI in 2016/17 season.

In his rich career Williams played for many European clubs, including UNICS Kazan, Unicaja Malaga, Lokomotiv Kuban... He was part of Crvena zvezda in 2014/15 season in which the red and whites won the triple crown (ABA League, Serbian Championship and Serbian Cup), while in the last season he returned to Zvezda, but he played only 3 games for the Belgrade crew before he parted ways with the team.

Budućnost VOLI je dobila novog igrača na poziciji plejmejkera, potpisan je jednogodišnji ugovor sa iskusnim Markusom Vilijamsom. U bogatoj i dugoj karijeri, Vilijams (30g, 191cm) je igrao za Oak Hill Academy, Connecticut (2003-2006), New Jersey Nets (2006-2008), Golden State Warriors i Quebradillas Pirates (2008-2009), Memphis Grizzlies (2009-2010), Enisey i Unics (2010-2011), Jiangsu Dragons (2011-2012), Unicaja Malaga (2012-2013), Lokomotiv Kuban (2013-2014), Crvena zvezda (2014-2016).
