Branislav Ratkovica inks one-year deal with Partizan NIS

Just couple of days after Aleksandar Cvetković left the club, Partizan NIS have found his replacement at the point guard position. Branislav Ratkovica has joined the black and white family.

Ratkovica (31, 193) started his basketball career in Beopetrol (2002/2003), after that he moved to Atlas (2003-2006) and to Mega Leks (2006/2007), while then he decided to go abroad.

This experienced point guard played for several clubs in Germany, including Oldenburg, Artland Dragons and Tubingen. It is important to mention that the newest aquisition of Partizan NIS was the player with the most assists in the 2014/15 Bundesliga season, as he was averaging 7.2 assists per match.

Ratkovica also played in Turkey for Aliaga Petkim and Olin Edirne, as well as in Ukraine for Politekhnika. In the previous season, he helped Lukoil Academic to win the national title in Bulgaria, while his average stats numbers were 7.9 points and 5.1 assists.

"I am very glad that I joined Partizan NIS, a club which I have been cheering for since my childhood. Although I spent the last 10 years abroad, I have been following the results of the black and whites. A few years ago there were some negotiations to come to Partizan, while now we have finally made a deal. It is simple, you do not reject the call from Partizan, even if you have offers from some other clubs. I am happy that I returned to Serbia and that I will once again work with coach Džikić with whom I had worked before in Atlas," said Ratkovica.

Ratkovica signed a one-year contract with Partizan NIS and will wear No. 6 in the new season.

Branislav Ratkovica je novi plejmejker Partizana

Novi košarkaš crno-belih potpisao je danas jednogodišnji ugovor.

KK Partizan NIS je u svoje redove doveo treće pojačanje za sezonu 2016/2017. Nakon Birčevića i Majstorovića, ugovor sa Partizanom je potpisao i Branislav Ratkovica. Tokom prošle sezone, Ratkovica je branio boje kluba Lukoil Akademik iz Sofije, i imao učinak od 7,9 poena i 5,1 asistenciju po meču.

Novi košarkaš Partizana je ponikao u KK Beopetrol, a najveći deo svoje karijere je proveo u Nemačkoj, igrajući za Oldenburg, Artland i Tibingen. Takođe, Branislav je igrao i za KK Atlas, Mega Vizuru, Aliagu Petkim i Olin Edirne.

"Drago mi je što sam došao u Partizan, klub za koji navijam od malena. Iako sam deset godina proveo u inostranstvu, sa velikom pažnjom sam pratio sve igre crno-belih. Pre nekoliko godina je bilo pregovora koje smo eto sada smo uspeli da realizujemo. Jednostavno je, Partizan se ne odbija iako imaš i neke druge ponude. Drago mi je što sam ponovo u Srbiji i što ću raditi sa trenerom Džikićem sa kojim sam jedno kratko vreme sarađivao u Atlasu.” - rekao je Ratkovica odmah nakon potpisivanja ugovora.
