Mega Leks to continue preparations in Bulgaria

Mega Leks squad traveled to Pravets, Bulgaria where they will continue with preparations for the next season. The team will stay in Bulgaria from August 10 to August 16.

Mega Leks squad traveled to Pravets, Bulgaria where they will continue with preparations for the next season. The team will stay in Bulgaria from August 10 to August 16.

Mega Leks will once again have a very young and talented team, as the average age of the players is 20.5, while the oldest player in the roster is Radosav Spasojević, who is 24 years old. The new team started with preparations for the new season on August 1, while these are the players who showed up at the first training:

Ognjen Jaramaz, Radovan Đoković, Stefan Simić, Milenko Veljković, Alfa Kaba, Đorđe Simeunović, Nikola Pavlović (players who stayed from the previous season); Miloš Milisavljević, Kostja Mushidi, Marko Tejić, Radosav Spasojević, Stefan Glogovac (newcomers). Mega Leks captain Rade Zagorac joined the team on August 6 when he returned from the USA, while Vlatko Čančar will join the squad when he finishes summer campaign with the Slovenia national team.

There was also some changes in the coaching staff as assistant coach Jade Fattouh continued his career abroad, so the new assistant coach will be Ivan Vujičić.

"Once again we started our pre-season campaign on August 1, as we think it is the best timing to begin with preparations for the following season. After the first trainings, the team will continue with preparations in Pravets, where they will spend one week with our dear friends and general sponsors Leks Group. When we return home, there will be plenty of pre-season games," said Mega Leks General Manager Goran Ćakić.

Mega Leks otputovala na pripreme u Bugarsku

Košarkaši Mega Leksa su otputovali u Bugarsku gde će u Pravetsu od 10. do 16. avgusta boraviti na pripremama za novu sezonu.

Tim se okupio već 1. avgusta a prvom treningu su prisustvovali Ognjen Jaramaz, Radovan Đoković, Stefan Simić, Milenko Veljković, Alfa Kaba, Đorđe Simeunović, Nikola Pavlović kao i pojačanja koja su pristigla tokom leta, i to Miloš Milisavljević, Kostja Mušidi, Marko Tejić, Radosav Spasojević i Stefan Glogovac. Kapiten Rade Zagorac se priključio ekipi po povratku iz Amerike 6. avgusta dok će Vlatko Čančar biti na raspolaganju timu Dejana Milojevića po okončanju obaveza u reprezentaciji Slovenije.

I u stručnom štabu je bilo izmena pošto je asistent trenera Žad Fatu nastavio karijeru u inostranstvu a novi pomoćni trener je Ivan Vujičić.

Mega Leks će i naredne sezone imati izuzetno mladu i talentovanu ekipu o čemu govori i prosek godina od 20.5 kao i činjenica da će najstariji igrač na početku sezone biti Radosav Spasojević sa 24 godine.

Generalni menadžer Mega Leksa Goran Ćakić ističe da je da je početak sezone 1. avgusta pravi recept za ekipu Mega Leksa:

„I ova sezona nam je počela 1. avgusta što smatramo da je pravi recept za našu ekipu kako bi što spremnije dočekali sezonu. Posle uvodnih treninga, očekuje nas sedam dana priprema u Pravetsu u Bugarskoj kod naših prijatelja i generalnog sponzora kluba Leks Group-a a potom sledi i veliki broj kontrolnih utakmica",
