Union Olimpija reached an one-year contract with Dražen Bubnić (207 cm, 1986-born), who is playing at the power forward position. Last season he played for the Dutch side Groningen, where he averaged 9.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Bubnić used to play for Union Olimpija in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons. He also played for the clubs like Hermes Analitica Zagreb where he began his career, Slovan Ljubljana, Zlatorog, Helios, Koper, Rogaška, šenčur Gorenjska Gradbena Družba and Sibiu.

V Union Olimpijo se za sezono 2016/2017 vrača krilni center Dražen Bubnič, ki je v preteklosti že nosil zeleno-beli dres med letoma 2012 in 2014.
Union Olimpija je sklenila enoletno pogodbo z Draženom Bubničem (207 cm, 1986), ki igra na položaju krilnega centra. V lanski sezoni je igral za nizozemskega prvaka Groningen, kjer je v povprečju dosegal 9,2 točke in 3,4 skoka na tekmo.
Bubnič je že bil del Uniona Olimpije v sezonah 2012/13 in 2013/14. V preteklosti je nastopal še za zagrebški klub Hermes Analitico, kjer je začel kariero, Slovan, Zlatorog, Helios, Koper, Rogaško, šenčur in romunski Sibiu.
