Partizan NIS win Kopaonik tournament, first win for Krka

Partizan NIS have had a perfect start of the pre-season. The black and whites won the friendly tournament at Kopaonik after a convincing display in the final match against Mornar Bar.

It was a clash of two ABA League teams. Partizan NIS and Mornar Bar faced each other in the final match of the Kopaonik tournament, while the Belgrade crew eventually triumphed.

Partizan NIS gained +7 lead in the opening quarter and they managed to keep that margin all the way until the last 10 minutes. The boys coached by Aleksandar Džikić increased the rhythm in the last period and wrote down a pretty convincing win at the end. Vanja Marinković was the top scorer in the winning team with 15 points, while Partizan NIS had 9 players who got into the score sheet in this match.

On the other side, Mornar Bar have some reasons to be satisfied after this game, despite the defeat. Mostly because of great performance by Lamont Jones (18 points) and Antabia Waller (15 points).

One more ABA League team played a friendly game this Tuesday. Krka scored their first pre-season win after beating Grosuplje 101:48. The MVP of the match was a newcomer in Novo mesto roster - Marko Luković - who made 27 points!
