Cedevita victorious against Igokea, Hopson shows his skills
Cedevita defeated Igokea in a friendly match played in Dom košarke in Zagreb with great performance of Scotty Hopson. Karpoš Sokoli started their preseason journey with a defeat.
Cedevita defeated Igokea in a friendly match played in Dom košarke in Zagreb by 86:71.
The fans of the Zagreb powerhouse can definitely be satisfied with the final score, but they will be even more pleased when they see the numbers of two new players who arrived in the club this summer.
Scotty Hopson showed that he will indeed be a big reinforcement for Cedevita in the upcoming season. American player was the top scorer of the match with 21 points, while he had a great help from another newcomer David Stockton who finished the game with 13 points.
On the other side, Danilo šibalić and Robert Rikić scored 13 points each for Igokea.
Karpoš Sokoli started their preseason journey with a defeat against Rilski Sportist - 66:82. The Bulgarian side opened the game with 10:0 run and kept the double-digit margin all the way until the end.
Still, there are some positive things in this defeat for Karpoš Sokoli and one of them is excellent performance of Dragan Labović who scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds.
