Cedevita put on an amazing performance against Tajfun, the last season's ABA League member, which they have beaten with a margin of no less than 53 points! The Zagreb side were grinding from the very first minute on and already at half time held a 30-point advantage, which got even higher in the second half. Scotty Hopson shined with 17 points for Veljko Mršić's side, while Duje Dukan scored 11.
On the other side, FMP played their first game at the tournament in Romania and were defeated by a point by Hungarian side Alba Fehervar. The final score was 72:71.
