Luka Tomas is the new Zadar player

The youngest member of basketball family Tomas has agreed on a four-year contract with Zadar. The 1999-born player will play for both Zadar senior and junior teams next season.

"We are extremely satisfied that we have agreed on cooperation with Luka Tomas. He is one of the greatest prospects of Croatian basketball at the point guard position adn we are hoping that he would develop his talent fully at our club. He has undergone several practices with us and has demonstrated his quality, which is good enough for Zadar. Even though he still can play for the junior team, he will practice with the senior suqad, especially until injured Lovre Bašić is back on court," Zadar Sports Director Skroče announced.

Luka Tomas is set to arrive in Zadar from his hometown club KK Radnik Križevci and he also spent a short period in Cedevita youth categories. He was one of the best Radnik players last season.

Luka Tomas je novi igrač Zadra

Najmlađi član poznate košarkaške obitelji Tomas (braća Ivan i Marko) sa Zadrom je dogovorio četverogodišnju suradnju. Obzirom da je rođen 1999. godine, u novoj sezoni trebao bi paralelno nastupati za seniorsku i juniorsku momčad Zadra.

"Izuzetno smo zadovoljni što smo dogovorili dolazak Luke Tomasa. U pitanju je jedan od najvećih talenata hrvatske košarke na poziciji organizatora igre i mi se nadamo kako će kod nas u u potpunosti razviti svoj talent. S nama je odradio nekoliko treninga i pokazao je da posjeduje kvalitetu za Zadar. Iako još uvijek smije igrati za juniore, trenirat će s prvom momčadi, pogotovo dok nam se ne vrati ozlijeđeni Lovre Bašić," poručio je sportski direktor Zadra Branko Skroče.
