Mega and Zvezda will play in the finals of Vršac tournament
The final match of the friendly tournament in Vršac will be a remake of the 2015/16 ABA League Finals - Crvena zvezda mts vs. Mega Leks!
The final match of the friendly tournament in Vršac will be a remake of the 2015/16 ABA League Finals - Crvena zvezda mts vs. Mega Leks!
And that was not the only similarity between the tournament in Vršac and the last season"s ABA League Playoffs. Like in the 2015/16 ABA League semifinals, Mega Leks and Budućnost VOLI faced each other in the semifinals match in Vršac!
It was a very exciting game, while at the end Mega Leks triumphed after overtime! The absolute hero of the day was Rade Zagorac who scored 28 points and led his team toward victory. On the other side, Boris Savović collected 22 points for Budućnost VOLI.
Crvena zvezda mts scored a well-expected win over Vršac, with all 12 players making baskets this Saturday evening. It is interesting to mention some of them…
Milko Bjelica has put on the red & white jersey for the 1st time after 10 years and he scored 8 points today. Also, Stefan Jović and Marko Simonović have returned to the squad after having some extra time off due to their participation at the Rio Olympics.
Simonović was especially good in the match vs. Vršac, as he put up 17 points.
