Crvena zvezda mts beat Mega Leks and win Vršac tournament
Once again, Crvena zvezda mts were victorious in the clash against Mega Leks, this time in the finals of the friendly basketball tournament in Vršac. Budućnost VOLI got defeated in the 3rd place match.

Crvena zvezda mts continued with wins in the 2016/17 prep games. The reigning ABA League champions defeated Mega Leks in the finals of the Vršac tournament and successfully completed another test for the new season.
Marko Simonović was leading the red & white troops with 18 points, while Milko Bjelica and Branko Lazić added 11 points each for the winning team.
On the other side, Radosav Spasojević was the top scorer in Mega Leks with 13 points. The vice-champions of ABA League played today without Ognjen Jaramaz and Djordje Simeunović, who suffered minor injuries.
In the match for the 3rd place, Vršac defeated Budućnost VOLI after overtime. It was the second time at Vršac tournament that the squad from Podgorica lost the game in additional 5 minutes, but it must be mentioned that they were without several important players, including JR Reynolds, Suad šehović, Nemanja Gordić...
