Wins for Cibona, Crvena zvezda mts and Union Olimpija

ABA League teams had a successful day, as they had a perfect score in preparation games, with the result of Karpoš Sokoli still pending and only Mornar being defeated but…to another ABA League side – Crvena zvezda mts. Cibona beat Fraport Skyliners, Union Olimpija were better than Jiangsu Dragons.

Cibona finished third at the tournament in Brussels, as they have beaten Fraport Skyliners in the game for the third place. Due to the technical problems, the full statistics of the game isn't available, but it is evident from the path of the result, that Cibosi were the better opponent in the second half of the game.

In the derby of two ABA League sides in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade, Crvena zvezda mts came out on top against Mornar Bar. The decisive ones were the second and fourth quarters, when the red and white have secured themselves a crucial lead, which led them towards the 80:65 win in the end. Milko Bjelica was the top scorer of the winning side with 16 points and his teammate Charles Jenkins added 12. For Mornar, Antabia Waller led the way in scoring with 17 points, while Mihailo Radunović scored 15.

Union Olimpija were convincing against Jiangsu Dragons in the closed preparation game in Stožice Arena. After Gašper Okorn’s men were behind at half time (34:28), they increased their speed in the second half and won in the end with the score of 68:55. Stevan Milošević was the top scorer for the Dragons of Ljubljana with 14 points and he was followed by Nikola Janković and Jure Pelko, which contributed 10 each.
