In their strongest prep match so far in the preseason, Crvena zvezda mts suffered their first defeat. Greek powerhouse Olympiacos Piraeus was simply better this Friday evening, mostly because they opened the game on a very powerful way.
Olympiacos escaped on a double digit margin already after the opening 10 minutes (26:16), while Crvena zvezda mts failed to come back from that deficit.
Therefore, Olympiacos will play against Efes Pilsen in the finals of the International Basketball Tournament at Crete (Sunday, 19:30 CET), while Crvena zvezda mts will face Hapoel Jerusalem in the match for the 3rd place (Sunday, 17:00 CET).
