Ognjen Čarapić signed with Mega Leks
Montenegro U20 national team member Ognjen Čarapić is the new reinforcement of Mega Leks, since he signed his first ever professional contract with the club from Sremska Mitrovica. Čarapić arrived to Mega from Budućnost VOLI.
Montenegro U20 national team member Ognjen Čarapić is the new reinforcement of Mega Leks, since he signed his first ever professional contract with the club from Sremska Mitrovica. Čarapić arrived to Mega from Budućnost VOLI.
Čarapić stated that he will do his best in order to warrant the trust put in him: “I am extremely happy to have signed a first professional agreement with Mega Leks, since everyone knows well how good this team is for young players. We have excellent working conditions here at the club and I will do my best in order to warrant the trust of coach Milojević and the club’s management.”
Ognjen Čarapić has been practicing with Mega senior team for a while and has already appeared for them in several preseason games.
Last season Čarapić appeared in 19 games for Budućnost VOLI in the ABA League and Eurcup, while he is also a regular member of Montenegro national team youth categories. He averaged 6.7 points, 1.3 assists and 1.1 rebounds per contest at the U20 European Championship this summer.

Ognjen Čarapić potpisao za Mega Leks
Mladi crnogorski reprezentativac Ognjen Čarapić novo je pojačanje Mega Leksa pošto je potpisao prvi profesionalni ugovor sa timom iz Sremske Mitrovice. Čarapić je u Megu došao iz redova Budućnosti VOLI.
Čarapić je istakao da će dati sve od sebe da opravda ukazanu šansu: „Veoma sam srećan što sam potpisao prvi profesionalni ugovor sa Mega Leksom jer je svima dobro poznato koliko je to dobra sredina za mladog igrača. U klubu imamo odlične uslove za treniranje i daću sve od sebe kako bih opravdao poverenje trenera Milojevića i uprave kluba.“
Ognjen Čarapić je već neko vreme trenirao sa prvim timom Mege a nastupio je i na nekoliko kontrolnih mečeva.
Čarapić je prošle sezone nastupio na 19 mečeva za Budućnost VOLI u ABA ligi i Evrokupu dok je redovan član mlađih reprezentativnih selekcija Crne Gore. Na Evropskom prvenstvu do 20 godina, koje je održano ovog leta je za mladu reprezentaciju u proseku postizao 6,7 poena, 1,3 asistencije i 1,1 skok po utakmici.
