2016/17 ABA League Season - Igokea

One thing has been following Igokea since they entered the regional competition and that thing is - They can defeat anyone.

Three years ago, everyone were taking about Igokea. Back then, the club from Aleksandrovac claimed the 1st place in the Regular Season of the regional league! They got defeated in the semifinals, but it was still a historic achievementfor this club.

Igokea haven't reached the F4 ever since, however they have had shiny moments over the past few years. For example, they managed to beat both Crvena zvezda mts and Partizan NIS in Belgrade in the ABA League 2015/16 season. Not many clubs in Europe can say that they have done the same.

Anyway, the team haven't faced a lot of changes during the summer. Dragan Bajić is still the head coach, while it is worth mentioning that he was also at the helm of the club back in 2013 when Igokea reached the Final Four of the regional competition.

Then, the club extended cooperation with the team leader Vuk Radivojević, while several other players also remained in the club including Miroslav Pašajlić, Nikola Pešaković, Đorđe Milošević, Danilo Šibalić... 

Speaking about newcomers, Igokea signed two American players - Brandon Fortenberry and James Arthur Robinson. Also, the club got much stronger down in the paint by bringing two centers - Draško Albijanić and Robert Rikić, while they also added one power forward to the roster - Strahinja Mićović.  

Igokea can play with anyone, that is absolutely certain. We are just about to see how many wins can they achieve in this season.
