Story of the game: Two big rivals await this match in totally different mood. At one side, Crvena zvezda mts had a very powerful opening of the new season as they scored a 22-point margin win against MZT Skopje Aerodrom. The red and white crew looked very good in that match and the new players showed that they have already found the right connection with the rest of the team.
On the other side, Cedevita will try to forget the 1st round match as soon as possible. They suffered a home defeat against Budućnost VOLI and faced many critics in the previous couple of days. They now want to make a valuable break that would completely cancel that shocking defeat from the start, but everyone knows how difficult it is to beat Crvena zvezda mts in Belgrade...
Also, it is worth mentioning that these two teams faced each other in the last season's ABA league semifinals. Back then, Crvena zvezda mts were slightly better in two very close games and advanced to the finals by winning the series 2-0.
