Cedevita and MZT wish to recover from shocking beginnings

When Cedevita and MZT Skopje Aerodrom were composing their squads this summer with great ambitions probably none of them were expecting to begin the season with two defeats in a row. However, now they have a chance to stand up – but only one of them will manage to do it.

Story of the game: Cedevita are about to host MZT Skopje Aerodrom in one of the first two games of the third round of the season and it is a clash of two teams that began their seasons with 0:2 in victories, thanks to their tough schedule. While Cedevita were defeated at home by Budućnost VOLI and on the road by Crvena zvezda mts, MZT Skopje Aerodrom also lost on the road to reigning champions and afterwards by Partizan NIS at home.

This will be an excellent chance for both sides to recover from unsuccessful start, but far from an easy one – since it is a battle of two strong squads, with ambitions to reach the top. One of them will make it, however. It just remains to be seen which one.

Match-up in focus:  On the court of Dom sportova we will see a battle of two dominant ABA League centers – Cedevita’s big man Miro Bilan, the MVP of last season of the ABA League, will try to protect the rim from one of the most notable last season’s big men Jure Lalić, who did not make his mark in the league yet this season due to injury. Will he succeed in making an impact this time?
