Story of the game: Krka and FMP will try to continue their journey the way that they that it ended in their last game. Krka opened the season in the ABA League victoriously, at home against Karpoš Sokoli and afterwards beat Union Olimpija in the local derby in Slovenian National Championship, while FMP stood up in the ABA League 2nd round after the defeat in the opening round in Zadar.
It will be a battle of two teams that have achieved their latest success thanks to their dominance in the paint, while they have outrebounded their opponents and it will be an interesting thing to watch which frontcourt will prevail this time around.
Krka will host the Belgrade side without injured Darko Jukic who is suffering from foot fracture and perhaps without questionable Jure Ritlop, while there are no injuries currently at the FMP side.
Match-up in focus: There will be huge battle in the paint, where Krka build their game on excellent Marko Luković and Dragan Apić will be the man that will try to stop him. He had solid performances against Zadar and Mega Leks. Can he repeat them against one of the best power forwards of the league?
