Petar Rakićević is the new player of Crvena zvezda mts

Talented Serbia U20 national team member Petar Rakićević signed a three-year contract with Crvena zvezda mts and has already departed with the team to Zadar, where they will play the next ABA League game.

Rakićević, who is 204 cm tall can be used at the positions 1, 2 or 3. He signed a 3-year contract with the reigning ABA League champions. One of the most talented players in Europe at his position, has immediately joined the rest of the team that travelled to Zadar for the next ABA League game.

Petar started playing basketball in his hometown of Prokuplje and after two years spent in Čačak, he has joined Metalac Farmakom, for which he played since 2014. Last summer he was a teammate of his new Crvena zvezda Telekom teammates Marko Gudurić and Nikola Rebić playing for Serbia U20 national team at the U20 European Championship, where they won the golden medal.

Last season Petar averaged 6.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in the ABA League.

Petar Rakićević novi igrač Crvene zvezde mts!

Talentovani mladi reprezentativac Srbije, Petar Rakićević potpisao je trogodišnji ugovor sa KK Crvena zvezda mts, i odmah otputovao sa ekipom u Zadar.

Rakićević koji je visok 204 centimetara, igra na pozicijama plejmejkera, visokog beka i krila, a sa šampionom ABA lige potpisao je u sredu trogodišnji ugovor. Jedan od najtalentovanijih igrača na svojoj poziciji u svom uzrastu, odmah je sa ekipom otputovao u Zadar, gde će crveno-beli u trećem kolu ABA lige gostovati domaćem timu u četvrtak.

Petar je ponikao u Prokuplju gde je napravio prve košarkaške korake, a nakon dvogodišnjeg boravka u Čačku, od 2014.godine nastupao je sa velikim uspehom za ekipu Metalca Farmakom. Protekog leta bio je saigrač Marka Gudurića i Nikole Rebića  u selekciji Srbije na EP za igrače do 20 godina, na kome je naš nacionalni tim osvojio zlatnu medalju.

Prošle sezone Petar je u proseku beležio 6,8 poena, 4,8 skoka  i 2,7 asistencije po utakmici u ABA ligi.
