In the 4th round of the 2016/17 ABA League season Union Olimpija will host Mornar in Ljubljana. This match will be quite special for the home fans, as it will be held in the club's old hall Tivoli.

Story of the game: Union Olimpija return to famous Tivoli Hall and hope that it will finally bring them luck in the ongoing season. The Dragons suffered two defeats at the start of the 2016/17 campaign (the match against Krka was postponed to December), so they are still waiting for the 1st win in the competition. On top of that, Union Olimpija lost both previous games by a single point margin, which has definitely broken some spirits inside the team. The green and white crew are now ahead of their 1st home game in the new season, so they invite fans to come to Tivoli and help them to finally break the curse of narrow defeats.
On the other side, Mornar have passed through a similar situation as Union Olimpija. The newcomers also suffered two narrow defeats at the start of the season, but then they outplayed Karpoš Sokoli in the previous round and scored their very 1st win in ABA League. Now, they want to keep winning, so the squad from Bar have high hopes of the upcoming match.
Match-up in focus: Brandon Jefferson vs. Antabia Waller. They will probably not guard one another, but they will most certainly have a scoring competition. They are the two top scorers of their teams, so expect a real basketball shootout in Ljubljana.
