Story of the game: FMP have left a very good impression so far in the 2016/17 season. They were unlucky in the opening game against Zadar, but then they downed ABA League vice-champions Mega Leks and made a big break against Krka in Novo mesto. Now, the Panthers return to their hall, where they will face another team who is in excellent rhythm - Igokea.
The visitors have had a simlar journey so far in this season. Igokea got defeated by Cibona in Laktaši in the 1st round, but then they beat Karpoš Sokoli away and Union Olimpija at home. That last win was especially sweet for the boys coached by Dragan Bajić, as it came in the final seconds, so the morale inside the team is very high in front of today's clash.
Match-up in focus: Dragan Apić is the option No. 1 for FMP when it comes to center position, and this young player has been quite good so far. On the other side, Draško Albijanić is guarding the paint of Igokea, while he left his mark in the previous round when he scored 14 points.
