Unpleasant defeat for Crvena zvezda mts at EuroLeague opener

Crvena zvezda mts were defeated in their opening game of the EuroLeague season at home in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade. The taste of a loss is not bitter only since it was the game in Europe, but also since the red and white let go of 16-point lead, gained during the game.

Dejan Radonjić’s were on fire since the beginning of the game. They were up by seven points after 10 minutes and by 14 at the half. Their biggest lead of the game came in the 21st minute, when they went ahead by 16 (46:30).

However, that is when the guests started their major comeback which eventually turned into a three point victory in the end (73:70).

Ognjen Kuzmić was the top scorer of Crvena zvezda mts with 16 points scored in the end, while Marko Gudurić added 13 in order to take the second place in the scorers’ list.
