Story of the game: Everything looked very good for Zadar at the start of the season. They triumphed against FMP at home court after a thrilling finish, which definitely boosted their confidence. However, then it started... The famous basketball club suffered three consecutive defeats, while the last two were simply shocking. Zadar firstly lost the home game against Crvena zvezda mts by 66:103, while then they got defeated by Cedevita on the road by 120:62. Now, they simply need to win in order to make it up for their fans.
At the same time, MZT Skopje Aerodrom are also passing through a very difficult period, as they have suffered all 4 defeats so far in the 2016/17 season. The club also stayed without head coach, because Emil Rajković resigned from that position after the previous round, while the team parted ways with Torey Thomas and Jeremiah Massey, who failed to leave some good impression. The visitors are definitely highly motivated to finally score their first win in the new season.
Match-up in focus: Ivan Marinković vs. Jure Lalić. Totally different types of centers. While Marinković is quite thin for a center and is therefore very mobile, Lalić is the old-school big guy who likes to play close to the basket.
