Game recap: Zadar have once more used their home court advantage to snatch a victory this season in the ABA League. For the second time they have triumphed at home, which is also their second victory of their season and they have done it against MZT Skopje Aerodrom in front of 3000 strong crowd in Krešimir Ćosić Arena, Višnjik. Crucial was the final quarter of the game, when Zadar confirmed their supremacy over the Skopje side. Aleksandar Jončevski’s squad remains without a single win before the Skopje derby in the 6th round of the season.
Key moments: It has still been anybody’s game at the beginning of the last quarter, when MZT Skopje Aerodrom even took the 52:50 lead in the 31st minute. However, a 10:0 run in favour of the home side followed over the next 3 minutes, which turned the curve of the result Zadar’s way. MZT Skopje Aerodrom failed to recover from this blow until the end of the game.
Man of the match: The newcomer in Zadar’s ranks Mislav Brzoja was the one that impressed the spectators the most with his all-around performance. He spent 35 minutes on court, scored 12 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, dished out 3 assists and stole two balls. His valuation in the end was 22 and he is our man of the match.
Can' trick the stats: The thing that divided the two teams and pushed Zadar in front in the greatest extent is the assists/turnovers ratio.
