Cibona, Mega, Mornar and Partizan ready for Champions League debuts

Mega Leks, Cibona, Mornar and Partizan NIS are four teams that are about to make a debut appearance in the inaugural season of Basketball Champions League.

Four teams will take part in writing of the history since they will appear in the first ever edition of the competition called Basketball Champions League.

Mega Leks and Cibona, both competing in Group D, will face Sidigas Avellino and Iberostar Tenerife, respectively, in the opening round. Both of them will be the hosts to the Italian and Spanish sides on their way to the desired first triumph of this European season.

Mornar will also compete in Group D, after having won their place in the competition by eliminating Igokea in the Qualifiers. Mornar will be the hosts to Belgian side Telenet Oostende in the first round at home in Topolica Sports Hall, Bar.

The only ABA League representative in Basketball Champions League Group E are also the only ABA League representative in this competition that will make their debut on the road. They will travel to Germany to try and edge out MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg for what would be their sixth consecutive triumph of the season, since the season has begun.
