Painful defeats for Cibona and Mega Leks at beginning of Champions League

Cibona and Mega Leks were both defeated at their Basketball Champions League debuts. In Zagreb, Cibona were outplayed by Iberostar Tenerife, while Mega Leks were outscored by Sidigas Avellino in Sremska Mitrovica.

It was a one-way traffic in Zagreb, as Iberostar Tenerife, that are still unbeaten this season in Spanish Liga Endesa, have cruised to victory against Cibona and they decided the game in their favour already in the first half, when they went up by 13 points at the break.
