Story of the game: Olimpija Ljubljana will host Cibona in the opening game of the ABA League Round 6 and it will be a clash of the only two teams that have been a part of the regional league since its beginnings in each and every season.
Olimpija will try to return to the winning track again, after a defeat in Belgrade against Partizan NIS, their third defeat by only a point since the season started (and to illustrate the situation better – they are currently on a 1:3 record). On the other hand, Cibona need a victory in order to stay in touch with the top three teams of the league, which are still undefeated, while the Wolves were defeated once.

Match-up in focus: In the center position there are the main weapons of both sides, so it will be extremely exciting to watch the showdown of two excellent big men, Nikola Janković of Olimpija and Ante Žižić of Cibona. Janković is currently the leading rebounder (10.25 rebounds per game), while Žižić is third (9.2). At the same time, Žižić is the second scorer of the league (22 points per game), while Janković is sixth (19.25). What a clash of the giants will that be!
