ABA League 6th round, Saturday, 22.10.2016

ZADAR MEGA LEKS

Where? Krešimir Ćosić Arena, Zadar

When? 19:00

Story of the game: In the fifth round, Ante Matulović led his Zadar side to the victory against MZT Skopje Aerodrom in Krešimir Ćosić Hall and this was their second win in Višnjik this season, also their second overall win of the season and the win that kept Zadar out of the danger zone at the bottom of the standings. Now a new challenge is arriving to Dalmatia and it’s the Mega one – Dejan Milojević and his Mega Leks.

The Sremska Mitrovica side are coming to town with only one win on their account so far this season and five defeats in a row – after opening round win against Union Olimpija they lost four games in a row and they are coming to the sixth round after a home court loss against Avellino in Basketball Champions League.

It will be a battle of two teams that are battling for their chance to settle in the middle of the league standings and what is on home side’s mind right now is for sure their negative tradition against Mega Leks – they have only won one of their 6 encounters in regional league. Can this time be different?

Match-up in focus: In Višnjik, fans will be able to enjoy the clash of two talented prospects – on the home side there will be 19-year old Lovro Mazalin, the second scorer and passer of Zadar (12 points and 3.25 assists per game), while his match on the other side will be Mega Leks’ second scorer and third passer, the 21-year old Rade Zagorac (14.4 points and 2.6 rebounds).

Head to head in regional league: In total 1:5; In Zadar 1:2.
