Karpoš Sokoli in pursuit for historic win, Olimpija want to bounce back

The last game of the ABA League Round 7 will be the clash between the two teams who are currently at the bottom of the standings - Karpoš Sokoli vs. Olimpija Ljubljana.

Story of the game: Karpoš Sokoli are still looking to write down their first ever win in the ABA League. They were close to achieve it couple of times in the previous 6 rounds, however every time something was missing. Meanwhile, the squad from Skopje made some changes in the roster. Last week they acquired one more new player - Goran Vrbanc, so everyone in the club believe that the time has finally come to write a new page in the history book of Karpoš Sokoli.

On the other side, Olimpija Ljubljana definitely hoped for a better start of the season. The Dragons played 5 games so far in the 2016/17 ABA League season and scored only 1 win. Therefore, they badly need a win in Skopje in order to regain confidence and get back on their feet.

Match-up in focus: Dragan Labović vs. Nikola Janković. Very similar types of players. They can both cover positions of power forward and center. Labović (Karpoš Sokoli) and Janković (Olimpija Ljubljana) are very capable of making a lot of points if they are in a good rhythm, so expect a tough battle down in the paint.
