EC: MZT were unlucky again, defeats for Budućnost and Olimpija

All three ABA League teams which played their Eurocup games this Wednesday suffered away defeats.
MZT Skopje Aerodrom might be the unluckiest team in 2016/17 Eurocup season. After losing the opening round by conceding a two-pointer in the last second, the squad from Skopje now dropped a double-digit lead in the final quarter of the match against Nizhny Novgorod. MZT Skopje Aerodrom were up ahead by 68:57 on 6 minutes before the end, however they eventually lost the match after overtime.
Budućnost VOLI and Olimpija Ljubljana will also return home empty-handed after the 4th round of Eurocup. Budućnost VOLI got defeated by Zenit St. Petersburg on the road, despite a brilliant performance of Marcus Williams (27 points), while Olimpija Ljubljana had no chance against Valencia in Spain.
