Nothing new in the West or a sensation in Skopje?
In the first game of Saturday’s ABA League programme Karpoš Sokoli will host Budućnost VOLI in a clash with clear expectations – the reason are of course the losing streak of Sokoli and the winning streak of Budućnost, which are going on since – the very beginning of the season.

ABA League 9th round, Saturday, 12.11.2016:
KARPOŠ SOKOLI – BUDUĆNOST VOLI
Where? Boris Trajkovski Arena, Skopje
When? 17:00
Story of the game: Saturday’s ABA League basketball afternoon will start with the game in Boris Trajkovski Arena in Skopje with a clash of still winless Karpoš Sokoli and still undefeated Budućnost VOLI.
It is clear, therefore, that we will either see something completely usual for this season’s standards or something completely unexpected, as the win of Karpoš Sokoli would bring a brand new experience to both sides.
However, changes in the course are not impossible. This will be only the second team of Karpoš Sokoli with their new head coach Dragan Nikolić at their bench, while Budućnost VOLI are heading towards the game after a tough defeat in the EuroCup against Bayern Munich.
While at Karpoš Sokoli everyone is healthy and ready for the new game, Budućnost VOLI are coming to Skopje without injured Nemanja Gordić.
Match-up in focus: Karpoš Sokoli have shown a solid performance last round, as they have offered tough resistance to FMP on the road in Belgrade and point guard Kendrick Perry emerged as a true leader with a double-double performance. This time, his challenger will be even stronger – Marcus Williams of Budućnost VOLI. Will he be able to amaze us all despite the tougher job?
Head to head in regional league: 0:0.
