We have the MVP of the ninth round of the season and it is Boris Barać of Zadar for the first time this season. He joins his teammate Ivan Marinković, who did it in the first round, in the MVP list. Barać dominated the court in Bar, where Zadar scored another valuable win.
At the match between Mornar and his Zadar, Boris Barać achieved 27 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and a steal – and overall valuation of 40, the highest amongst all players this round.
However, what makes things more impressive is that Boris used his quality not only to fill in his statistical categories, but also helped his team achieve a victory in one of the most exciting games this season, in an Adriatic derby on the road in Bar, where the two teams have achieved no less than 214 points combined.
During the 37 minutes on court, his team have created themselves 6 points of advantage, the same number as the margin between the two teams was.
Besides Boris, the players that marked the Round 9 with their names are the top scorer Pierre Jackson of Cedevita, who scored 32 points in Belgrade against Partizan, top rebounder Jonah Bolden of FMP, who grabbed 12 rebounds in Ljubljana against Olimpija, top passer Matic Rebec of Krka, who dished out 10 assists in Novo mesto against MZT Skopje Aerodrom and top ball "thief" Antabia Waller of Mornar, who shared this honour with previously mentioned Cedevita's Jackson (both of them stole 4 balls).
