BCL: Three games, three defeats

Cibona, Mornar and Partizan NIS suffered defeats in the 5th round of the Basketball Champions League.

It was definitely not a good evening for ABA League teams in the Basketball Champions League. All 3 teams that played their games today suffered defeats.

Lamont Jones had a great match as he scored 28 points, but his Mornar got defeated by Avellino at home. The visitors were in the lead during the entire game and eventually picked up a well-deserved win.

Cibona were unsuccessful at their road trip to Lithuania, as Juventus were too good today. It seems that the Wolves could not recover in time from that that big derby against Crvena zvezda mts that was played on Sunday evening.

Finally, Partizan NIS suffered their 2nd defeat in the Basketball Champions League after losing the home game against Spirou Charleroi. Still, the black and whites are still in the good position in the race for the next stage.
