EC: New win for Cedevita in the 6th round

In the 6th round of the EuroCup, Cedevita have beaten Gran Canaria at home in Dom sportova, while Budućnost VOLI, MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Olimpija Ljubljana were unsuccessful.

Cedevita have achieved a 3rd win of this EuroCup season and they now have 3:2 win/loss ratio after the beginning of the second half of the regular season. They have got their revenge over Gran Canaria for the road defeat in the opening round of the competition with the final score of 97:90. The home side have turned the game around in the final five minutes, after they were already behind by 14 in 24th minute. Marko Tomas was the one to head the scoresheet for Cedevita with 22 points. Ra'shad James had 19.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom stay winless in the EuroCup, after they were defeated by Lietkabelis for the second time. The Lithuanian side were in front ever since the seventh minute (at most with 23 points of advantage) and celebrated deservedly 87:80 in the end. Daniel Clark and Stefan Sinovec led the way in scoring for the Skopje side with 20 points on their accounts each.

Budućnost VOLI were defeated by Spanish side UCAM Murcia for the second time this season. The squad led by Ilias Zouros were up by 10 points on several occasions during the game, for the last time in 17th minute, but they let go of the lead in the last six minutes and lost 86:75 in the end. Marcus Williams was the top scorer of the home side with 23 points, while J.R. Reynolds had 11.

Union Olimpija suffered their fifth defeat of the season in EuroCup on a tough away court far from home in Krasnodar Russia, against last season's EuroLeague Final Four participants Lokomotiv Kuban. The Dragons lost every single quarter which led them to a 77:64 defeat. Mirko Mulalić had 18 points, while Devin Oliver had 12.
