EC: Cedevita qualified for next stage

In the clash of two ABA League sides in the EuroCup, Cedevita have edged out MZT Skopje Aerodrom at home in Dom sportova and qualified for the next stage of the competition. In another game, Olimpija Ljubljana were defeated in Israel by Hapoel Jerusalem.

Two ABA League sides Cedevita and MZT Skopje Aerodrom have met again in the EuroCup and again it were Cedevita that came out on top from this battle. There really haven’t been many dilemmas regarding the final outcome, as Cedevita have made things clear during the third quarter, which they have won by 18 points! The rest was just a formality and Veljko Mršić’s squad have prevailed in the end with the score of 95:61.

Ryan Boatright was the top scorer of Cedevita this time with 20 points on his account, while Jure Lalić had 14 for MZT Skopje Aerodrom.

Olimpija Ljubljana suffered their sixth defeat of the season on the road in Jerusalem against Hapoel in a game, that was completely one-sided since the very beginning. At half time, the Israeli side were up with the score 49:36 and just kept increasing the lead in the second part. The highest lead for the home side was 20 points, but in the end the Dragons managed to cut the deficit and the final score was 81:69.

For the Ljubljana side, Devin Oliver topped the scoresheet with 18 points, while Nikola Janković had 11.
