Karpoš Sokoli have put on some astonishing performances lately at home court in the ABA League and they will try to repeat the success on the opening day of the 13th round of the season, when their guests will be the team of Mega Leks.
ABA League 13th round, Saturday, 10.12.2016:
Where? Boris Trajkovski Arena, Skopje
When? 19:00
Story of the game: In the second game of the Saturday’s ABA League action, Karpoš Sokoli will take on Mega Leks at home court and they will try to continue walking on the successful path, that they have been on lately, when they have beaten giants Budućnost VOLI and Cedevita at home.
At the same time, a new success would bring Sokoli a step away from the possible relegation and a step closer to their direct competitors in this game – Mega Leks, that are currently on a 4-win record this season.
Mega Leks haven’t been shining recently, as they have lost their last two encounters in the ABA League and they are looking towards this clash as an opportunity to stand up after not really breathtaking performances against Cibona and Partizan NIS.
While the home side will play the game with all players at coach Nikolić’s disposal, Mega Leks are coming to Skopje without Nikola Pavlović, while the Rade Zagorac, Ognjen Jaramaz, Alpha Kaba and Jovan Novak are all players with a question mark besides them.
Match-up in focus: With the possible absence of many teammates, it might happen that the young Vlatko Čančar, who got a chance to shine a few times this season and took it as well, would be a player from which lots would depend on Mega Leks’ side. On the other side, Karpoš Sokoli’s Zoran Vrkić will be the player that will try to overpower him and take his team to the victory instead. Which one will prevail?
