Zvezda fought bravely, but Fenerbahce were just too strong

Crvena zvezda mts suffered a road defeat against Fenerbahce in the 11th round of the Euroleague Regular Season.
Even if they had traveled to Istanbul in full roster, Crvena zvezda mts would have been clear underdogs in this match, while without two such important players like Luka Mitrović and Marko Gudurić the red & white crew simply had no chance against mighty Fenerbahce.
Zvezda only opened the match on a proper way, as they took an early lead – 14:9, however the Turkish powerhouse have gone in front already until the end of the 1st quarter – 20:18. After that, Fenerbahce started dominating the match and increased the margin to +18 before the final quarter – 68:50.
With some excellent role of Ognjen Dobrić, who scored all of his 10 points in the 4th quarter, Zvezda managed to reduce the deficit to 74:65, however Fenerbahce immediately increased the pace and quickly returned to the safe distance.
