Story of the game: Budućnost VOLI had a very tough week which started with an unexpected defeat against MZT Skopje Aerodrom in the previous round of ABA League. It was the 2nd defeat for the Blue squad in the 2016/17 Regular Season, and it came in a very difficult moment… Just in front of the big derby of which people from Podgorica have been taking for some time now.

On Sunday evening, Sports Center Morača will be the place where the 2nd placed and the 1st placed teams of the league will face each other. Budućnost VOLI will host Crvena zvezda mts.

The visitors have the perfect score so far, as they wrote down 12 wins out of previous 12 rounds. Therefore, Crvena zvezda mts is just one win away of completing “beat ‘em all” achievement”, which means that they would defeat all of their 13 rivals in the ABA League… In a row!

Unfortunately, both sides are having some major problems with injuries in front of this game. Budućnost VOLI still do not know whether will they be able to count on Boris Savović, JR Reynolds and Zoran Nikolić, while Crvena zvezda mts might miss Luka Mitrović and Marko Gudurić.
