BCL: Partizan victorious in the black & white clash against Besiktas

Partizan NIS achieved a very important win in the 9th round of the Basketball Champions League after they defeated the leader of Group D - Besiktas Istanbul. Mornar suffered home defeat against Tenerife.

It was indeed a great night for Partizan NIS. Their home Aleksandar Nikolić Hall was almost fully packed this Wednesday evening, as the fans felt the team needed their support in the match against Besiktas.

And together they defeated the Turkish club!

Partizan NIS played the perfect last quarter in which they made the crucial lead. Everything started from the result 68:66 for the Belgrade team. Will Hatcher had 4 out of 4 from free throws for 72:66, then the same player made a three-pointer and pushed Partizan NIS to 75:66, while finally team captain Novica Veličković completed a 10:0 run with another 3pts shot - 78:66.

On the other side, Mornar were not so successful this evening, as team from Bar got defeated at home court by Spanish side Tenerife - 72:89.
