Right from the beginning, the Dejan Radonjić’s squad have made clear that the two points were staying in Belgrade this time and it was evident also to the guests by the half time, when the red and white were in front by no less than 18 points (42:24).
In the second half of the game, Zvezda’s lead continued to increase and eventually it lead to the highest advantage of the home side at the game in the 26th minute, when they were up by no less than 31 points.
The final score was 83:58 in favour of the reigning ABA League champions, for which Marko Simonović led the way in scoring with 14 points. He was followed by Ognjen Kuzmić, who added 12 for the victory of his team.
