Partizan protecting the second place against MZT

On Sunday night, second placed team of the league Partizan NIS will host MZT Skopje Aerodrom in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade and will do their best to grab a new win, which would keep them at the top of the standings. On the other side, MZT desperately need a win to escape the bottom.

Story of the game: Important clash is ahead of Partizan NIS and MZT Skopje Aerodrom, which will meet in the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall in Belgrade on Saturday night.

After a series of great results, Partizan NIS have found themselves alone on the second place in the standings, looking only into Crvena zvezda mts’ back and Aleksandar Džikić’s squad, while plagued with injuries (Đorđe Majsotorović is sidelined with an injury, while Mihajlo Andrić, Frank Robinson and Novica Veličković also might not appear due to the same reason), will try their best in order to grab a new, sixth win in a row, which would keep them at the second spot in the standings.

On the other side, MZT Skopje Aerodrom are also suffering lots of damage with several players being sidelined, as Daniel Clark has joined Xavier Thames and Stojan Gjuroski, which have been out of the court before. However, they desperately need a new win in order to escape the very bottom, which they are currently sharing with four other teams.

The black and white are heading into the game full of self-confidence thanks to their victory during the week in the Basketball Champions League, while the guests had the whole week of time to prepare for the clash.

Match-up in focus: All eyes will be set on two excellent individuals at the point guard position this time, as Partizan’s leader William Hatcher will be there to try to overpower MZT Skopje Aerodrom’s playmaker Charlon Kloof. Who will prevail this time?
